I want to Witness but, I am Shy, or afraid...
Well don't be... I know, well that eaiser said than done right? RIGHT!
It says in Jeremiah 1:5 God said, " Before I made you in your mothers womb, I chose you.
Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work."
What does that mean to you? God has a gift He has for you it maybe witnessing, teaching,
preaching, whatever so dont be shy, or afraid, God will fill your heart with what he wants you to say, dont be afraid
to share your faith.
How Can I Witness?
There are many ways to do this, you can talk, read with someone, or whatever. The way to
witness is to share your faith and try to have scritpures to back you up. WE all know its hard at first, thats only because
you are new to your faith and havent got the guts yet, but dont worry you'll get it. Pray for guidence, wisdom, strength,
and knowlege. God will help you with what you need. HIS WILL will be done, not ours.
Acts 2:14 Peter shares his faith. He
witness to the crowd. And a few weeks bofore that, he denied Jesus Christ. And now look at him, he is witnessing. So if you
fell afraid to share your faith remember this:
Psalms 23:4 " I will NOT be afraid, Because YOuU (GOD) are
with me."
Prayer
Well some people dont know how to, the power of prayer is a great one, if you hear of someone
sick dont you pray for atleast try to help them...?
Acts 3, Peter heals a crippled man
with the power of PRAYER. Isnt that a big clue with how God Works?
To pray is easy, theres no one way to do it, many people pray diffrent, the most common way
is to clsoe your eyes and give it all you got to God, people ask " WHY DOESNT GOD ANSWER EVERYTHING I ASK?" thats because
He isn't a slave, He will do what he thinks you need. Always remember HIS WILL BE DONE NOT OURS.
Now, when you witness, you need to be firm, speak you mind, share your opions. And if you
do that they will see you are SERIOUS. Trust us , we know. Try to get their attitions first with something of their intrests.
Have scriptures to back it up. When you do that slowly turn the conversation into God. And when your done witnessing
and you feel like you cant do anymore do an invatition, ask them if they would like a closer walk with God if yes pray with
them, if no keep workin on it.
But what if Someone Doesnt Want To Hear?
Well you cant force them to listen if they dont want the info, then just
simply say "ok, God Bless and Take Care." You never know something you said to them may have touched them in a way and the
want to find out more later. But if they just flat out don't care or critize you then do like the Word says " Dust off your
feet and move on to the next city" ( or in this case person).
